They will not delete it probably.

I support your video.

They might be acceptable, but noone will like them.

Knox has done a few. It was funny.
It's not allowed if you put the full thing & not putting in your own idea's & words in it

You can Fan-Dub things on youtube =]

I would support your videos, and for a good reason.

Not to get anyone in trouble, but Knox (creator of the blue clay guys) has a series of hilarious videos, with scenes of "The Terminator" "Resident Evil" and "The Matrix" With his voice dubbed over. Very funny stuff, and if you can pull off some good humor, you have my support.

Hi, there. This touches upon an issue in the World of Art, so to speak. Now, having had the discussion with a couple of profs at my college, so long as three major things are changed from the original, it can't be under artistic license/copyright. Also, parodies have protection from copyright infringement.

I'm not going to touch the opinion of worth in sprite animation, but in that they do not remake the games they are from, tend to have crossover interaction from many games, and require editing in form as well as storyline, I would say that they would not fall under 'stolen work'.

Now, I must admit that I have not watched your vids, but if your dubs are the same story then it's not really yours, though the voice acting is unique. If you are not editing the artwork in any shape (are you changing when the mouth moves?), then NG might not be the place for it. That doesn't mean you can't promote it from your NG blog.

Anyway I just hope that helps clarify the issue you had regarding stolen work or not. Considering the stuff that has passed in the portal, I honestly wouldn't worry about your stuff disappearing. u.u

i find it stupid that youtube deletes your video and then keeps several copies of "it's the juggernaut bitch" and several AMVs. i personally blame the sonic haters for that.
